A Trekkie(Star Wars Fan) launched a De-Feminized version of Star Wars!

Recently a fan-edited version of Star Wars has been blast famous on the net. It was launched on Sunday on the famous downloading site known as ThePirateBay.

He posts “cut out most shots showing female fighter/pilots and female officers commanding people around/ having ideas.”

The fan has almost removed all the female characters in a positive light from the movie. This version of the blockbuster has reduced from 152 minutes to 46 minutes (after all the editing made). Laura Dern’s character Vice Admiral Holdo (whose name is misspelled as “Haldo”) is completely absent from the cut, while other female characters like Rose Tico (who is referred as “Asian Chick”) have had most of their dialogue removed. In this version the editor writes, “Leia never scolds, questions nor demotes Poe”, “Asian chick speaks less [and]doesn’t bully Finn”, and in a climactic fight scene “Phasma is finished after the first blow by Finn [because] women are naturally weaker than men.”

The commentators on the online forum Reddit are not giving a positive signal to this edit. People have been seen calling it “a perfect example of the fragile male ego” or “most pathetic thing ever seen” Others have been suggesting it to be a parody of a sexist’s reaction to the film. This edit has changed the plot of the film by showing that Princess Leia and Luke Skywalker are both killed by the forces of Kylo Ren’s evil first order.

“Obviously it’s far from perfect,” the editor suggests by writing on The Pirate Bay site. “The source is not even on DVD level…. there are plotholes and continuity errors and some cuts are not as smooth as they should be.”

The editor defines this version as “more fast-paced” and “actually much cooler without all of Leia’s nitpicking.” It is said,”For what its worth, it can now at least be viewed without feeling nauseous about most of the terrible big and small decisions they made in this film”
