Guacamole is the all-time fave party dip

It’s that time of the year again, when you’re bound to throw a party for pals at home to ring in the New Year. While we’re sure you have the games and themes in place, make sure the food is planned, too. With folks on a healthier spin these days, we suggest you conjure up a bunch of light bites and prepare a dip to go with it. The all-time guacamole works best here. Whether it’s for tortilla and nacho chips, grilled paneer or chicken wings, the creamy dip makes a perfect addition to the table. Here’s an  easy way to make it…

Ingredients
Avocados – 4, pitted
Garlic – 2 tsp
Onion – 3/4 cup
Tomatoes – 3, cut into small cubes
Fresh cilantro – 3 tbsp
Salt – to taste
Lime juice
Method
Peel and mash the ripe avocados. Add the lime juice, diced onion and tomatoes,  garlic and salt in it. Sprinkle the chopped cilantro on this and mix again. Foe best flavour, refrigerate this and remove  just before the party starts.
Trick: The tip to making good guacamole is to use ripe avocados.
For a softer creamier version, add sour cream to it.
