Netflix Is Making an Animated ‘Fast & Furious’ TV Series

We all love ourselves a nice action-thriller movie, and the movie ‘Fast and Furious’ has always delivered us exactly what we expected and wanted. The good news is that Netflix has partnered up with Dream Works Animated television and have produced an animated version of Fast and Furious. This isn’t the first time that Netflix and Dream Works have decided to partner up, in fact, they have worked successfully 14 times over the course of 5 years. A few of their series were called Trollhunters and Spirit Riding Free.

The animated series of Fast and Furious is about a teenager named Tony Toretto who follows the footsteps of his cousin Dom (who in the movie is played by Vin Diesel) when he and his friends are recruited by the government to infiltrate an elite racing league bent on world domination. The series is to be produced by our very own Vin Diesel along with Neal Moritz and Chris Morgan. The release dates are still unknown.

The very popular Fast and Furious real-life action movie was first released in 2001 and the next movie ‘Fast and Furious 8’ is coming out in July 2019. The 9th and the 10th chapters of the movie are to be released in 2020 and 2021 respectively.
